it might be service pack 3 cos they might have made a hot fix or something and i can give you a different key and suggest uninstalling sp3 and trying again with a key just reply and try again after you get your new key

I think the only difference I see is that he included a .exe that appends your HOSTS file with a block to the MS WGA server. Hacking the HOSTS file is simple enough to do manually just find c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
and add a line or two that look like this:
#block wga
127.0.0.1 mpa.one.microsoft.com
